Class 2 / Class 4
Embark on our NZTA-approved 2.5-day theory and practical course. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive NZQA Qualifications for mastering the following unit standards:
- 15158 – Carry out pre-start vehicle checks on a heavy motor vehicle, prepare vehicle for use, and shut it down
- 17574 – Operate a rigid vehicle to meet the requirements for a full Class 2 driver licence
- 17576 – Operate a rigid vehicle to meet the requirements for a full Class 4 driver licence
- 24089 – Demonstrate knowledge of fatigue management, work time, and driver logbook requirements

- Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th, and Wednesday the 11th of February

Class 1 (Car) Licences

StreetTalk Defensive Driving – Hutt Valley
Held monthly in our Upper Hutt training room, this course shortens the mandatory restricted license period from 18 to 12 months. It’s designed to equip you for independent road travel confidently.
